The jGBM Bremen-Oldenburg was founded in 2025 by Bachelor, Master and PhD students from Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and University Bremen. Our goal is to create a network for students and young scientists that helps make the transition into professional life easier and supports personal and academic growth.

In the future, we plan to organise events that encourage exchange between young researchers in Oldenburg and/or Bremen. These will include talks, workshops, and excursions to research institutes or industry partners, providing insights into both academic and non-academic career paths. We also aim to strengthen nationwide connections by collaborating with other city groups across Germany.
