We are a young and growing community of students and early-career scientists from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and nearby research institutes who share a passion for science, innovation, and connecting with like-minded people.

Our mission is to create an open environment where students can exchange ideas, gain new experiences, and explore opportunities beyond their studies. Whether it’s learning more about research, discovering career paths in industry, or simply building meaningful connections, we want to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

Through networking events, workshops, lab visits, social meetups, and collaborations with other jGBM groups across Germany, we aim to bring young scientists together and strengthen the scientific community in the Erlangen-Nürnberg region.

At the same time, we believe that personal connections are just as important as academic ones. University life can be challenging, and having a supportive network can make a real difference. That’s why we value openness, teamwork, and creating a community where people can grow together — professionally and personally.
